Trending is one way to trade... Consolidation is another way (Trending is one way to trade... Consolid)
I love trading. It really suits my personality type. Passion mode.
This is what's on the drawing board. I've been refining this strategy and I think this is a major breakthrough.
Therefore, I wanted to share my findings and value in put options along with feedback from other traders.
We all want to make money trading, right?
Use semi-automatic EA to open and close multiple trades with limit orders and take profit with great flexibility. (Although the take profit function is not used) Just a limit order. I think its coder must be a "crazy Russian". He was crazy because he gave away the coded ea for free. What a genius. Thanks. Thank you thank you. Cпасибо. Cпасибо. Cпасибо.

I think the only real problem with any trading strategy is that there are two different market conditions. Trends and Consolidations. One strategy does not fit both market conditions. There’s nothing worse than getting caught up in a trend going in the wrong direction. By the time it becomes apparent what has happened, there is often enough damage to swallow up almost all, if not all, of what has happened.
Determining the end of a trend is not that difficult. Often, a very dramatic trend occurs for a period of time, and then traders make a decision. Profit-taking took over and trading bounced within a range for some time. That's what I focus on. Integrate the market.
It's easier for me to identify consolidation than the start of a trend. I don't want to lose my popularity by trying to do a sideways trade for a long time because it's bound to move wildly one way or another after a while. I monitor a few pairs to find the market conditions I'm looking for and use semi-automatic EA's and some other identifiers.
Okay, how do I identify the merge?
This is after the big move. Mark it on the daily chart. Use moving average crossover (sma3 shift 1/lwma3). Then drops to the lower time frames. I do reverse trades for 1 hour. Moving averages are always slow during consolidation. When they show a crossover, the price is already moving in the opposite direction. This may continue for some time. This is my trading opportunity with this strategy. This is completely opposite in trend. In fashion trends, you want to go with the cross. In a consolidation, you need to have an opposite approach to the crossover.
It's easier for me to identify the end of a trend and get in and out of it (at least a short-term consolidation) than it is to identify the beginning of a trend and stay in the trend.
You need money to work. The position size is smaller, possibly larger, and there is enough margin to make it work. It's worth it.
Now I set the ea to the settings shown in the chart. My broker has extra decimal points, so the 200 I set is actually 20 points.
This is a semi-automatic EA. It's not designed to be set up and then gone for a year. That's not what happened! ! !
In fact I don't know of any ea that works like this! If you find it please let me know!
****There are other things to note. Control point settings are useless in mt4 tester. This is not real data. They compress the quote data and average it in a certain way, so it's not all that actually happens during the trading day. Price action has almost completely disappeared. Higher ones show lower ones first, and so on. Even the "every tick" setting suffers from some sort of averaging, which might be a little better, but not much better than control points. Perhaps a lower time frame would be more accurate as the open and close would remain the same. But everything else in between is Cuckoo's house.
There is actual historical quote data available. It's really a headache to load. But it's 99% accurate about what's really happening in the market. I visited it from Dukascopy a few years ago. I am now just using mt4 with a tick per tick setting of 1 hour.
This is the EA and template I'm using.
These charts are 1 hour charts where the EA is set up to trade using the markers on the daily chart and move in the opposite direction.
I did not use a take profit setting and just waited for the opposite direction cross mark on the daily chart. Just look at the chart at the end of the day. Make sure to have plenty of margin and use smaller position sizes for this.
It can be huge. If it is indeed a merger. I also use 400sma. When the trend tapers off, the price will approach the flat line of the 400 moving average. They bounced around 400sma for a while.
1 hour is a very flat chart. The EA is set up to trade there. But there is no need to monitor anything there. Just set it up and let it do its thing.
4 pairs were eliminated from this morning's demo. Made $1,400 in a few hours. There are a bunch of .01s. It is important to be able to see what is correct.

Good news for US traders on January 9, 2017! ! !
Tradersway will accept US clients, no FIFO, hedging is OK and leverage is up to 1:1000.
All the bells and whistles…
If that's not enough to make you hang yourself...I don't know what is.
I will open an account with Oanda as soon as I can withdraw funds..

OK I'm going to take over this.
I basically understand what he's doing.
Just write down in his mind the details of how to do it.
If you are a newbie, this is a bit difficult for you.
I wouldn't be able to try to explain things.
You just need more experience.
Very grateful to find a broker that allows hedging.
I recommend checking out the tutorial first. This may not be something you want to try right now.

EDIT 11/01/2017 Multiple locations in the grid instead of a single pair.
How about using a moving average that favors a certain direction and trading on 4 currency pairs?
This is what mt4 gives in their example list for super simple expert... which I can "like" later.
Waiting for net proceeds and closing everything.
Use this ea.
