TDI-ADX System (swing trading using TDI)
Hello again,
First and most important a big "Thank you!!" to everyone in the old thread (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=577146) who helped develop this system. Mathtrader7, Invermac, and a few others did a great job helping me develop a system that has been by far the most profitable and fun trading system for me. The whole idea is simple and based on the original TDI strategy, which can be found here: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=291622
The biggest difference is that this system is more of a swing trading system, while the original one is a breakthrough trading system. Here are my rules:
Chart: H1
index:
Synergy_TDI_Pro (standard setting)
ADX (Section 13, Level; 30 and 50)
EMA 200, close
Bollinger Bands; 20, 3, 3 (for viewing only. B-band has no functionality)
Long entry:
1) Price is above 200EMA
2) TDI and TDI signal below 50
3) TDI then crosses above the TDI signal, but remains below 50
4) ADX between 30 and 50 (I try to stay away from extremely strong and extremely weak trends)
**Note; I may end up getting rid of ADX to simplify further**
Exit when TDI breaks through 68 or SL is 100 points.
A short entry is just the opposite.

You can find tons of screenshots in old threads. I will post more here and give you the latest information on live entry and exit. I'd love to hear your opinions and look forward to some improvements. As with every system, this is a work in progress.
