Half trend + Double Level Grid Strategy
Hello everyone!
This strategy uses only one indicator: the semi-trend indicator.
The goal of this strategy is to ensure that you get as much as 10 pips on every trade. It does not follow the entire trend that may develop after a semi-trend signal. This could be a big waste, but what I want is 10 pips per trade. stop.
Because it can provide false signals, we use the grid strategy every time we open a new trade.
Time frame: M5
Must trade during London and New York trading hours only.
Matching: All done by brokers offering the lowest possible spreads. I trade 30 pairs.
Example: Signal trading of semi-trend indicators: Sell EurUsd.
We enter the market with a sell order of 1.12500: SL + 100 pipettes = 1.12600; TP - 100 pipettes = 1.12400.
Lot size: for example 0.01
Then we quickly open a buy pending order at the price of (sell + 100 pipettes) = 1.12600; SL - 100 pipettes = 1.12500 TP + 100 pipettes = 1.12700
Lot size: 0.02 (martingale sequence)
So you can see 1) Sell Order = SL of Buy Pending Order:
2) Buy pending order = stop loss for sell order.
This way it is easy to see if we have set up the order correctly.
When the stop loss is hit, we will open the same trade with double the last lot value. (e.g. 0.01, 0.02, 0.04, 0.08 ecc)
When we increase the value of the lot until the take profit is reached, the price may bounce from one level to another.
When this happens, we must remember to delete the last pending order.
To avoid multiple rallies that disrupt the martingale sequence, I recommend only trading during periods when the market is plentiful and volatility is medium/high.
Pay attention to times around fundamental news. Prices can jump from one side to the other so quickly that you can't upload your transactions in time.
The grid scheme is the same as for the buy order: open buy; SL -100; TP+100; then: sell stop - 100 pipettes away from the buy order; SL + 100; TP-100
Every time a new signal from a semi-trend indicator appears, I open the grid scheme of the bilevel strategy.
Take a look: This grid scheme can be dangerous. Therefore, I recommend not exaggerating the martingale sequence to a maximum of 3/4 steps, and not much more than that. Then accepting that trade loses your money. But don't worry: if you trade during the right time periods and trade as much as possible, it's always possible to recover lost funds.
The trading system is presented in "scalping mode", but it is flexible for other timeframes and has different buy/sell settings - SL/TP levels, changing the basic spread between orders (100, 200, 300, 500, 1000 pipettes). So everyone can adjust this strategy according to their own needs, according to different time frames, different spreads, and different lot sizes. and possibilities.
You'll want to practice this scenario with a pair so you can improve how quickly you can calculate levels and insert orders without a calculator.
Maybe you can use this system to implement EA.
that's all. Any criticisms, suggestions and improvements are welcome.
