Simple High Probability Trading - MT4/MT5 Resources
As the title suggests, this post is dedicated to a simple high probability trading strategy that I have been using for years. It's evolved over the years as I've learned different things from different traders and gone through cycles of adding and/or removing indicators for confirmation and that warm squishy feeling when entering a trade, knowing or thinking, rather than entering a trade just because the indicator says it must be a winner.
Have I eliminated all indicators? No, but I do have much less data than what's on the chart. My chart today is almost bearish, with only moving averages and period indicators to filter out some lower probability setups.
Now it’s important to remember that nothing I’m going to show you is new, magic, or bulletproof. However, with some practice, patience, and discipline, you will find that this system is the easiest to trade, the most straightforward to learn, and provides you with a high winning rate. In my opinion, all of these are the factors that a retail trader needs to be successful in this market.
Finally, I'll show you how I make money from the markets.
Before we get started... I'd like to outline some rules for this thread. I haven't done this before, but it seems like unless people make rules, the clues end up going off topic or sparking arguments. So here they are:
1. This topic applies only to the strategy I outline in this topic and only that strategy. If after some experience you start adding your own style to the system, you are still free to post here, but please don't let this thread turn into a thread with many strategies. The basic premise should remain the same, namely using range bars for trend trading.
2. No arguments! I'm not saying I know everything about the market, and maybe my approach won't suit your personality. That's okay...I can accept that, but please don't start attacking other posters on this thread or myself just because we might have handled it differently.
3. Let's have fun and make some money...so please post your trades, charts and questions
So what about this system... To ensure that I don't write about War and Peace in any one post, and that I keep the learning process simple, I will outline the system in chunks over the next few posts.
