Welcome to your Creation Matrix trading topic. Here we will focus on the Genesis Matrix system and the indicators it provides.

Now let me explain a few rules of threads. Rules are non-negotiable If you violate any of these rules you will be banned from the thread. Let me be very clear...if you break any of these rules, it's probably just for one of two reasons:
1.You haven’t read this article
2. You ignore the rules
All necessary indicators and templates are provided for you in a zip file at the bottom of this article.
EDIT: Building over 600 compatible files is also at the bottom of this article.
You can also use any of the additional indicator genesis system tools Xaphod threads developed for us.

We use Heiken Ashi for this system of candles for two reasons:
1. HA candlesticks tend to eliminate a lot of the “noise” associated with M5 chart trading
2. It prevents you from being biased towards the long or short side due to traditional Japanese candlestick patterns and formations which are inherently unreliable on small time frames (TF).
I've heard all the excuses as to why someone should be allowed to use Japanese candles but none of them hold up...this system uses HA candles so get used to it! Put aside your prejudices, fears, prejudices, unfamiliarity and open your mind. There is a PDF document below this article explaining HA candles to you...read it!
We use Heiken Ashi candles here, end of story!
1. Except for the zip files below or threads developed for us by the Genesis System Tools by Xaphod, they may not be used without the prior consent of one of the Genesis team. If you wish, you can change the color of the indicator on the template.
2. Predictions about where the Palestinian Authority will go next will not be tolerated. Obviously, no one knows where PA will go next, and we won't speculate on it. We trade the Genesis Matrix system, we do not make predictions.
3. We will not accept or tolerate any technical analysis (TA) or fundamental analysis (FA) that leads to long or short trading deviations or any other deviations.
4. If you are new to trading, please do not continue reading, you are in the wrong place. This system is not suitable for newbies to Forex trading, so don't come here asking and/or expecting to be told how to trade...experienced traders will have no mercy on you! Instead, go to Baby Peeps/School and complete their entire curriculum. It's free and very good. You will learn a lot there.
5. Before you post a question, consider that your question has almost certainly been asked and answered before. Use the search function at the top of every page and search for your answer. If you've searched and can't find the answer, please ask and we'll try to help. Be sure to search first, though, as it's easy to tell if you've tried it, and we won't spoon-feed lazy posters.
I know this sounds harsh, but I take this very seriously. I don’t have time to remind people over and over like I used to. Read the rules and follow them. We are serious about trading here...we are not here to be funny, we are here to take money from the bank and we are serious about it.
FAQ:
1. Within what time frame can I use the Genesis system?
We tend to use the M5 and/or M15 timeframes, but this system works for all TFs
2. Which currency pairs are suitable?
Any currency pair will do. As with any system, it works best in trending markets rather than range markets, but any currency pair will work. Gold and oil also play a role.
3. I've been trying Heiken Ashi candles for a few weeks now, and I've read the Heiken Ashi PDFs, but I just don't like them. Can I use Japanese candles?
No, you can't, but... what you do on your home computer is entirely up to you! However, any charts you post to the thread *must* adhere to the rules, including Heiken Ashi candles. So if you want to use Japanese candles in your home... no problem... just make sure any chart you post to your post follows the rules.
4. Do these indicators need to be redrawn?
No, the genesis indicator is not redrawn. This might be the case if you have (say) the M15 indicator on your M5 chart, but once the period candle (M15 in this case) closes, the indicator is permanently drawn to the chart. Of course, while the M15 candle is still in progress, the indicator may "seem" to repaint because the candle has not closed yet. This question has been solved many times, so you can search for a more in-depth explanation.
5. In the recently posted chart, I don't see the arrows, but I do see an additional matrix. Why do some graphs have no arrows and why do some graphs have this extra matrix?
Well, the "extra matrices" you see on some people's charts are actually arrows represented in the matrix, not the actual arrows drawn on the chart. If you place the arrows and the "extra matrix" on the diagram, you'll see that they match...perfectly.
This "extra matrix" is named ASCTrend and can be found on the Xaphod thread here. This very cool addition makes the diagram clearer and easier to read, and the code behind ASCTrend is more efficient than the Arrow code, so your computer will have less work to do. Arrows still work great, ASCTrend works great...you can pick which one you like.
6. I have downloaded the zip file and installed everything, but one row (or rows) of the Creation Matrix is a solid color and it never changes. What's going on?
The most common reason is that you did not install all indicators correctly. Genesis Matrix extracts data from the indicators in the zip file and looks for the required indicators in the "experts/indicators" folder. Genesis Matrix cannot display data if the indicator is not in the "Experts/Indicators" folder!
The only other one is the Microsoft permissions issue that exists on Windows Vista and Windows 7, I don't know about Windows 8. This is a common problem caused by Microsoft, more information can be found here that will help you.

RJ. There's not much to say about me...I've been around for a while and learned the trade the hard way, but I'm still here. Gradually, I tried a few systems that looked good on the surface, but nearly all of them ultimately failed. The simplicity of the Genesis trading system and its ability to provide me with points is impressive and I'm excited to be part of the team showing you the system.
Past Genesis team members include:
Olivia (O'Hammond). Olivia is the 2ic, or "second person in charge" of the topic. Olivia and RJ have very similar trading styles and are in regular contact. Olivia's skills of the trade and honesty are evident in the post and she has been a huge help not only to me personally but to the post and all its members. Olivia is currently away, but we will keep her seat warm until she returns!
Cody. Cody is a very willing and passionate trader and coder who has written some great code to help keep this thread and this system on top. He put countless hours into this lead and some of his ideas are truly amazing. Most of the code we use today is thanks to Cody. I expect Cody will come over from time to time and we will keep his seat warm too!
olivierforex. Oli started trading in 2003, when the EU rate approaching 1.20 was big news. He joined FF 18 months ago and started thinking about using indicators to trade the noisier small TFs, but didn't find anything that fit his personality until he stumbled upon Symphonie a few months ago, which led him to join the Genesis Matrix trading system! Ollie trades just about everything but mostly indexes, which is why he often "disappears" from posts before Wall Street opens. Ollie seems to have disappeared in 2013, but we'll keep his seat warm, too.

FAQ:
