Trading Market Structure | Foreign exchange indicator download - MT4/MT5 resources

I started this topic because I think there isn't enough discussion about how market structure helps you read the market. A lot of posts talk about naked trading or trading without indicators - but some people (myself included) need some visual clues to help read price action.

I know different people have different definitions of market structure, but for the purposes of this article, we will say that market structure consists of higher highs (HH), higher lows (HL), lower lows (LL), and lower highs (LH). Now, these are not really indicators, but patterns - so if you are a purist, you can take advantage of the market structure and still trade the indicators freely.

When looking at a chart, you can "get" the strength of an uptrend by looking at a series of HH and HL (excluding LL and LH). Reverses into a downtrend.

The image above shows two trades I made today. Over the next few articles, I will explain how to observe the setup and make some low-risk, high-probability trades.
