Snow Roller - An Avalanche of Profits
Welcome to Snow Roller Forex Automated Currency Trading System. Snow Roller is designed as a fully automated trading strategy and uses money management to close a basket of Forex symbols based on profit and loss criteria you enter. Your results depend on your selected currency, timeframe and settings (Blank Profit/Loss, Symbol Profit/Loss, Position Profit/Loss). I've provided the source code, your role is to provide test results, whether good, bad or ugly.
This system is an extension of 7Bit's "Snowball and Anti-Grid" concept. You can find 7Bit's posts here. This basic anti-grid concept has been developed into a fully automated currency trading strategy. MQ4 (MetaTrader) Snow Roller source code is available. (see link below)
Basket Statistics: I have created an additional indicator tool for use with Snow Roller EA. It tells you which shoes in your basket will improve performance and which ones will cost you money. You can find the Basket Statistics indicator in the link below.
As with all new strategies - please do not trade this strategy with real money until you have thoroughly tested it for a few months. I provide this EA to encourage testing and feedback/collaboration. I believe this EA has a good fundamental foundation as it is based on the same key concepts as the Snowball EA, but only time and testing will tell how well this formula performs. If the selected market trends, the Snow Roller should rise! Testing starts now.
Currency pairs being tested: EURUSD, USDJPY, GBPUSD, USDCHF, AUDUSD, EURJPY, EURGBP, AUDJPY, CHFJPY, GBPCHF, EURCHF
Time range: 5 minutes. Settings - Poorly tested currency pairs out of the box: USDCAD, GBPJPY (YMMV)
Well-tested currency pairs within 1 minute: EURJPY, CHFJPY, USDCHF, EURUSD, EURCHF, EURGBP. And GBP/USD is in a bubble.

For those of you using MIG or other brokers that use a 0.1 minimum lot size, I have attached my MIG setup file below. Same as other settings, just change BalancePerlotsize = 5000.0. Copy the file to the /experts/presets/ directory and delete the .txt from the end of the file.
