NFP System - Backtest data provided (NFP System - Backtest data provided)

How's it going, guys? I have something I want to share with you all. Rob Booker www.robbooker.com recently held a contest to see who could come up with the best NFP reporting trading system. This is the system (backtest data in Excel format) because I agreed to give it away for free shortly after winning the contest. Some notes about it:

This system relies heavily on an indicator called the Sentinel Index. Originally created by Joe Knight, I took the concept and used it in my system. It is a "USD Index" that calculates the movements of 7 major USD currency pairs (GBP/USD, EUR/USD, AUD/USD, NZD/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CAD, USD/CHF) and averages their daily movements together to derive the overall direction of all these currency pairs, as well as the USD. I plotted this in Excel and placed the 7-day SMA indicator above for entry into the system. I don't have a way to automatically draw and distribute the Sentinel Index yet (I intend to distribute it for free), but I still update it manually and provide services such as development of custom systems based on the index, signals based on the Sentinel Index and a short description of each trade on a daily basis, etc. If you are interested in any of these please PM or email me and we can make a system like this together
