Mister ED's 4 hour Heikin Ashi system

After a lot of thought and work, I decided to roll out a system that I've been using for the past year or so. The reason for this was to see if anyone could write an EA that would work so I wouldn't have to sit in front of a screen at an inconvenient time of day.

I developed this system from others on this forum but don't claim to be the founder. Others such as Paulus and Dreamliner have done more work on this.

However, I tried to organize the system to be as mechanical as possible. The aim is to reduce the subjective part of trading to a minimum, reduce the adrenaline rush that comes with making a trading decision and often obscure that decision, and ideally have a truly mechanical system that provides some kind of reward.

I manually backtested several of these pairs over 5 years and forward-tested 11 pairs for nearly 18 months. Therefore, I believe that the system is not only effective, but also has a level of adaptability and robustness that can respond to changing markets. Yes, I admit it didn't perform as well this year as it did last year, but it still returned a ton of points. Yes, the indicator does repaint slightly, but not enough to significantly change profitability in a live environment.

I don't expect other metrics to replace or enhance the ones included. Any optimization performed must be done individually by each trader.

This is a simple system that works fine without any changes, just an EA.
