Forex Trend Catcher EA - MT4/MT5 Resources
Hello everyone,
Since I started trading Forex I have been surfing different Forex forums and learned a lot. It's time for me to contribute. This is an EA I wrote to automate my trading experience. I call it "Forex Trend Catcher EA". As the name suggests, when it detects an emerging development trend, it will try to "capture" the trend.
A few things about this EA.
1. It is designed for trading on the 1 hour time frame.
2. New trades will cease to be initiated at the end of each trading week (15:00 GMT on Friday).
3. The EndWeekCloseAll option automatically closes all open trades before the Forex market closes at the end of each trading week (Friday 19:30 GMT). Otherwise, all existing open trades will be carried over to the next trading week.
4. TrailingStop Option required for tracking profits. Otherwise, there is no profit tracking.
5. TradeNewYorkOpen Option to trade/not trade before trading opens in New York.
6. TradeLondon opens trade/no trade option before London opens for trading.
7. Refer to the TrendRange_bars indicator to initiate a trade.
*Make sure you download version 1f from post #1 and not the outdated version 1a from post #3. I can't delete post #3, for some reason the "edit" button doesn't show up.
