"You can't be serious" system

Hi, I'm that boring guy who a while ago tried to start a conversation on the system (algorithmic vs. manual vs..) but to no avail, rightly or wrongly.

By the way, capm is not an anagram of "camp" as someone suggested, but an abbreviation for the capital asset pricing model. This has absolutely nothing to do with what we're doing here (it's more to do with asset allocation, if you're interested), but it was the first thing that came to my mind when I decided on a name to include in the forum.

Anyway, from that experience I had the opportunity to talk to some interesting people, learn a bit about the forum, what people are looking for and want, and what I might like. I've had a lot of advice to abandon the forum idea altogether because it's just not worth the effort.
However, I just like to have a little fun, and I have a tendency to do stupid things. I also see the good side of it from time to time. For example, I was inspired by LauraT's post (which prompted me to join a forum just to congratulate her) and the responses she got from so many people. It shows that there are some decent people out there willing to put in some effort, understand the concepts, and learn.

Unfortunately, most people seem to want an easy-to-follow "system" with all the necessary indicators, templates, arrows, and alerts, and best of all, for free. In my opinion and experience this is the wrong way to approach trading problems, but it took me a long time to realize this many years ago. So, I understand, but who am I to judge?

So, I decided to try another experiment (I love experiments.) I'll try to give people what they want and maybe some people will find what they need (how arrogant of me!) In this post I'll discuss how to go from here:

We will do this by using a system. I called the system "You can't be serious" for stupid reasons, which immediately damaged my credibility and showed that I have no marketing savvy (YCBS)

There is good news and bad news. The good news is that I've developed and used several "systems" so I kind of know what I'm talking about (how arrogant! Already twice!) The even better news is that this system will be free! yeah! Intellectual property rights take another hit!
The bad news is, there's a price to pay: you'll have to put up with my style, which includes lengthy explanations, unnecessary and possibly unbearable humor, a distinct lack of seriousness, and so on. To ease your pain, I'm going to italicize the parts that are not directly related to the system. I must warn you that you may miss some important messages and ignore them at your own risk.
Also, this is a step-by-step approach, so you may need some patience.
