M1/5 Multi-Timeframe RSI System (M1/5 Multi-Timeframe RSI System)
The "Multi-Time Frame RSI System" is a trading strategy that utilizes the Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator on multiple time frames to provide buy and sell signals.
The Trade View indicator allows extensive customization, supporting up to three different RSIs, each configurable with its own timeframe, length and data source.
how it works
(You will need a free Trading View account to use the MTF RSI indicator I display in the system. However, you do not need Trading View to trade the system. You will have to find another MTF RSI indicator on MT4/5 or browse the timeframes manually)
The strategy integrates up to three RSIs, each of which can be selected from different time frames and customized in terms of length and source. Users have the flexibility to define the amount of active RSI.
Users can also manage moving averages for selected RSI lines. When multiple RSIs are active, the moving average is calculated based on the average of these active lines.
set up
(Sometimes, when htf is OS/OB, the signal prints many candles in a row. Wait for a few candles to stop printing before entering the trade)
A buy or sell signal is generated when all active RSI lines cross their respective threshold lines simultaneously. At the same time, a label will appear on the chart to indicate the order placement.
By default, the system uses 3 time frames: M15, M30 and H1. 70 and 30 are thresholds, and 14 is the period.
Once a signal occurs, traders will manually draw a trendline that is as long and clear as possible. This will be the profit target for trading. The stop loss will be placed at the swing point (avoid placing it too tight to stop the hunt). You can choose to exit when price hits the target trendline (dynamic stop loss) or bracket order stop loss (fixed)
