Search and Rescue System (SAR system) | Forex indicator download- MT4/MT5 resources- MetaTrader 5 resources
- Flag trends on Daily TF. I drew the passage. You can use your own method. Check every morning that the trend is intact.
- Identify trading signals from SAR on H1.
- When a trading signal appears on H1, go to daily and H4 to view:
- If the currency pair is trending
- If the signal is in the direction of the trend.
- If the signal is close to a trendline or a bounce, if you use moving averages, etc. Or you might use divergence. No matter what I tell you, trading is possible. Trading at the beginning of a trend has a greater possibility of profit.
- Now go back to H1 and check the trend and price position in the H1 trend. If the range or price is confusing, don't trade.
- Maybe look for some PAs. But I'll trade it anyway.
- I also use HalfTrend as confirmation. Usually the SAR signal appears first and I take the trade but keep an eye on the semi-trendline to follow the signal.
- The Williams Percent Range - located below the MT4 oscillator - is a great tool. Crossing the -50 level is usually a strong sign. In longer trends, it remains above or below -80 or -20. This is a sign of a wellness trend.
- Set SL as SAR point.
I trade many pairs and to make sure I don't miss any existing trades, I set the background color to navy blue when trading long, purple when trading short, and black when trading no trades.
Exit - Possibility
- R/R at 1:1 or 1:2
- S&R exit.
- Track SL. For each new bar, move the SL to the new SAR point. Exit will occur automatically when the SAR disappears.
- If the trade goes well, after some time go to Daily and track the SAR points. But don't move SL to daily points. First, you can start tracking with Daily SAR Points when they are added to your initial SL.
No. 3 is a stump-friendly version. You don't have to worry about whether you're doing the right thing. The rules are clear and firm, and as long as you follow them, you'll have a great time.
I like the number 4. If you are lucky enough to get into the beginning of a trend, then follow the price on H1 for a little bit and then switch to daily. It can provide a decent risk reward.
I use some PROP accounts for trading.
The reasoning behind this is that if you have to manually track points in a trade and you are using H1, you must be prepared to watch these screens for hours a day. If there is a lot of interest in this topic, I might make an EA with a tracking point that automatically exits. Then you just trade without moving your stop every hour. Let's see how it goes.
See the chart in Article 13.

Parabolas are part of MT4. The same goes for Williams percentage.
This is the wonderful HalfTrend:
