Great GBP/USD Strategy for Swing Trades

author EAcpu | 3 reads | 0 comments |
Dear all traders,

I have been asked in some chat rooms what strategies should be used for swing trading.

Therefore, I decided to share this strategy of mine with anyone who is interested.

The average is 300-400 points per month.

What you need:
1) GBP/USD daily chart
2) GBP/USD 4-hour chart
3) Slow Stochastic on two charts (13,5,5)
4) EMA 4, EMA13, EMA50 on the 4-hour chart

See 4-hour chart entries:
When EMA4 first crosses EMA50 and then EMA13 crosses EMA50 and a new opening candle appears, set your entry point as a stop loss of 50 pips.
quit:
When EMA4 reverses and crosses EMA13 on the next opening candle.

They call it NoBrainersTrade, but I modified a few things and added a really good filter base on a daily chart with slow stochastics.

For filters, see Daily Chart Valid Long Entry:
Slow %K is higher than slow %D on daily chart
Valid short entries:
Slow %D is higher than slow %K on daily chart

Very simple method but powerful.
It works with other currency pairs as well, but I find it works best with GBP/USD.
