The Nomad System - by TheJube (The Nomad System - by TheJube)

Introduction (sorry this is the first thread I've started on FF so if it seems a bit clunky that's why hehe):

A little story about me and my (trading) journey:

This system was developed by me (TheJube).
I am 29 years old, from Amsterdam, Netherlands, half Dutch and half Algerian.

I have always been obsessed with trading. When I was 15 years old (14 years ago), I remember I was on Etoro (Forex trading website). This sparked a spark in me; I knew that if I could lose 50 euros in one moment, the reverse was also possible.

With this spark, I analyzed charts every day, every night for years. I have read almost every system on FF in the past 10 years. I've been through the ups and downs, learned a lot, and now I think and feel ready to share my own system.

I studied Child Development/Educational Science at the University of Amsterdam. During my studies, I started working at a well-known Dutch bank. This life disgusted me; going to an office with hundreds of people coming and going every day and not seeing any sunlight for weeks/months made me decide to leave Amsterdam (I still love it, but you get the point). In 2023, I said goodbye to my Dutch life and banking career, bought a campervan with my girlfriend, and started living an off-the-grid, self-sufficient life as a nomad hopping from one beautiful place to another.
We are now in Portugal, enjoying the best of life as "nomads", hence the name of the system. Also, I'm half Algerian, where the Touareg live, a nomadic people who live in their environment and jump from place to place.

In my trading journey, I have also been a nomad jumping from one system to another. This does two things:
1. I gave up on systems early and jumped from one system to another. I kept looking for the Holy Grail, but ultimately it didn’t exist.
2. Since I was/is relatively young, my brain quickly absorbed every indicator/thing in trading, which allowed me to put systems together relatively quickly. This is a good thing and a bad thing. It lets me jump from one system to another quickly. On a positive note, I know a lot about all the indicators/things in trading, which makes it easy for me to quickly understand a system and know if it's right for me. Example; ICT is not for me. It's not my thing. If it works for you, then of course I'm very happy for you.

Now that I'm a little older (29), I realize that I have to build a system (entry/exit/money management, etc.) that works for me personally and as a trader. I do this now using the Nomad system which works for me. NOTE: Maybe it doesn't work for you; then I hope, just like I did before jumping from system to another, you will pick something from my system that you can put into your own system that suits your personality/trading. If I could do that, I would be very happy.

Before getting into the system itself, I would like to thank a few people who have contributed a lot of useful information and insights about FF that have helped me a lot: RickM, Machinelearn, Minotawr, Chamane, Pips29, Vidvad, Forexalien, Ghbdr, Inthebox, Likica, Varun, Rocky, the list goes on. Thank you very much for your positive contributions to FF.

The Nomad system uses some stuff from other threads on FF, which I'll mention as well to give you a general idea. I also recommend you take a look at their systems/deals:
- Minotaur/MA100: https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/…9#post15033819 From here, I got the idea of entering the candle and entering at the highest point of the candle instead of the close of the candle. I will delve into this later.
-RickM+Machine Learning: https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...-go-mtf-system From here, I got the idea of MA cycles (Fibonacci Sequence), their stacking, etc.

The system I will show you includes: chart setup (templates, settings, indicators you need/can use), entry criteria, take profit/trade management, risk management (like getting funded, or how not to blow up your account), how to handle news/overnight trading, and a little fun (life is about having fun, live your best life!)
