The Grail (a system that is profitable)

How great would it be if you knew the lotto numbers before they were drawn? Could that be the Holy Grail? That's what this thread is about. We will foresee the next bar. At least that's the direction. The size is also good, maybe if there were more bars in the same direction.

What is the Holy Grail. Well, this is a biblical phenomenon, not a trading phenomenon, so let me define my goal. Holy Grail has been a profitable system for me. If I could foresee when the big stick is going to happen and get it right 80% of the time, that would be a holy grail to me.

In this article I will find the best way to predict daily strong bars. If this can be achieved more than 70% of the time, then we have achieved our goal.

When we manage to find the correct next bar in daily trading, we can successfully trade M15, M30 and M60.

This thread has some requirements.

1. Very good behavior. There is a reason.
2. Only Metatrader charts and tools are allowed. These days, the trading view is loading with topics. The two systems are different, and so are the tools. This makes combining threads difficult to follow. So - this is for Metatrader traders. MT4 is preferred, it is a simple and mature system. But MT5 charts and tools are allowed as they are very similar.
3. When posting a chart, you must show which instrument it is, the time frame, the timeline at the bottom of the chart, and the price on the right side of the chart.

Method <br> On this chart we have a nice daily bar. The wick is very small. This is the perfect bar for trading on shorter time frames.

In the next chart, you'll see the exact same bars on the M30. With very little risk, you can reap huge rewards.


The third diagram shows the core of the method. Trending tools - more on this later. The chart contains traffic lights, namely EMA 20, 50 and 100. green, yellow and red. Whether there is a trend in the chart is clear at a glance. The pink line is the price. Yes - this is a line chart. We traders rarely use it, but in this case it's perfect. It provides clear charts and makes it easy to spot pullbacks and rallies. That's the secret. After a trend rebounds, the trend usually continues. Wopti, we all know. Nothing new, but this makes it very visual. I marked 5 nice bounces.


Below is the template. I want us to use this template to find charts to trade. We can change it along the way, but with agreement. The chart contains traffic lights, namely EMA 20, 50 and 100. green, yellow and red. Then there is the Pips29 indicator. (This is the profile Pips29 with changes made to the original indicator. I have the original indicator - just have to find it). It consists of 4 CCI tools. They cover the actual and next 3 timeframes and are very effective.

I believe we need some momentum indicators as well. Let me hear from you?


Select a trading instrument. The picture below shows the 25 pairs of FF that I follow. I'd like to find some of these to follow throughout the rest of the day. So I close those pairs that are clearly not trending. The pair at the traffic light were the first to go.

I have 8 charts closed. There are now 17 charts left below. The chart size is now larger so I can better find some of the more confusing traffic lights. Then I judge CCI. I want a nice long even red or blue that shows we're on trend. So I closed those pairs that couldn't confirm this.


There are now 15 good top candidates left in the screenshot below. Then it's time to analyze each one from top/bottom to determine the few I will trade.



I found 8 pairs to watch.


Now put on the indicator I made. It's called an alarm. When the price crosses the moving average, you will receive an alert. Use the 20EMA, which is the green line. You can decide whether to display alerts on the screen and on your iPhone - if you have the MT4 application installed on your iPhone.

Or you can write down the price level at which you want to be alerted.

We have found currency pairs that we can trade. We get alerts when there are crossing lines. Look at the chart and decide if this is a good rally. Then trade down on the shorter time frame. I like the H1 signal and trade on M15. But you might like something different.
How do we trade it? This is the next one. I have my approach, but please let me hear other people's opinions. I'll point my way later.
