Lekkim's Crypto Open Interest (OI) trading system
Dear viewers and followers
After years of research, I came up with the most promising system I've ever made.
This will be my "last try" at trading as I simply can't (at least for now) come close to anything better. I will be live trading starting on Friday to get official logging.
Also, due to the old previous and latest updates of this thread and the system not producing satisfactory results, I advise you to trade with caution, but I recommend my new system, which evolved from all the analysis and development of this thread and even my earlier threads on FF.
I'll make and link to a new thread here tomorrow that will be more professionally explained and detailed.
It will be named “Crypto CDV & NVOI Daytrading System”.
The amount of pre- and post-testing and work I've done on this new strategy has been really great and I hope to be profitable and help other traders to network and grow and eventually get a lot of green points. If I've piqued your interest, I can say a few things about this upcoming method.
It is free to set up on TradingView and includes 3 lines (closing price, cumulative incremental volume indicator and open interest notional value indicator). Therefore, there is only one chart window, which is fairly simple and easy to understand, even if the theory and methods behind it are more complex.
The rationale is the assumption that these 3 lines should (and do) follow each other to some extent.
The "games" and movements that occur between them need to be analyzed, and when gaps and differences occur, trade entries and trade exits can be executed. More in-depth explanations and tutorials will follow.
Thank you to all viewers and contributors to posts and my enthusiastic support on this wonderful site.
Best regards, Lakin
Introduction
What if cumulative incremental volume and open interest notional value could be used to predict cryptocurrency market price movements?
By pulling data from Binance Futures Perpetual Contracts (nearly 500 pairs) to the TradingView software website, we can obtain useful and valid data from the largest cryptocurrency derivatives exchange to date to be used as data indicators for this system.
Price Close line shows changes in price and value Cumulative Delta Volume (CVD) Indicator line shows total bought and sold volume Notional Value of Open Interest (NVOI) Indicator line shows total value of all open positions
By comparing 3 lines on the same chart, we can understand how money flows throughout the day. The theory behind this system is that it makes sense that these 3 lines are usually connected to each other. We focus on two main factors: the gap between the two lines and their volatility. Price direction appears to be attracted by the line or lines that are most stable, as opposed to the line or lines that are least stable.

I will continue this project in my new thread:
https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/... Trading Systems This thread will remain for interested traders to read the entire journey, but it would be easier to provide information about new strategies in the thread without so many pages of R&D and noise.
