Make trading easy! (Make Trading simple!) | Foreign exchange EA download-MT4/MT5 resources
Anything in this thread will be useful in any market. The market is the market is the market, it just depends on how you want to trade.
I started trading in 1995. I love it! Even now I'm always trying to learn new things; because the market is changing. Trading in today's markets is completely different than it was 25 years ago. And it will continue to grow.
I trade using multiple time frames. I mainly use live charts and trade mainly ES and Micro ES (E-Mini contracts). Their transaction costs are lower. The spread is very narrow. Brokers are regulated so you can get better volumes and less slippage.
My anchor chart is between 600-900 ticks. My entry chart is between 150-300 pips. I use CCI, Stoch-RSI, MACD, Williams% R, Bollinger Bands. These are the possibilities on my chart. The process is very simple. Trade in the direction of the anchor chart and make actual entries on the entry chart. So what this means is that if I look at the 610 tick chart and I look at the CCI and I see it breaks above the zero line, then I will look at the 233 tick chart and if the CCI goes below or breaks through the zero line, then I will probably place a trade. If the opposite were true, then I would probably go long. The long-term and short-term CCI must be consistent. The same goes for Sto-RSI.
I like to keep things simple and if things get complicated it usually costs me money.
