Capital Weightlifting Championship - MT4/MT5 Resources
Hi, I built this system from scratch trying:
http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=444377
Start with 2 accounts (or a bank account and a trading account), called the " principle " and " trading " accounts.
The principle of accounts has " levels " as follows -
$100
$200
$400
$800
$1600
etc.
The trading account deposit always starts from 10% of the current amount of the account level.
So if at the beginning of Principle the current balance of the account is $250, the level is $200. We withdraw $20 (10% of the current amount) and deposit it into the trading account.
From here we try to implement a 2:1 R:R trade with +3 net trades (3 more wins than losses, no consecutive wins ), risking 50% of the trade for 100% of the reward.
therefore--
Trading Account Starting Deposit: $20
1*Net Win = $40
2*Net Win = $80
3*net win = $160
We will trade this account until it reaches +3 net volume or until it reaches -1 net volume. If the trading account reaches -1 net trading ($10 in this example), we withdraw $10 from the Principle account (thus withdrawing $10 from the Principle account and depositing it into the Trading account bringing the account balance back to $20).
Once the target of +3 net trades is achieved, we will withdraw the profit trading account and deposit it into the Principle account minus the deposit to start the next series.
Transaction account number:
balance-
$160-$140 (Leave $20 to start a new trading series)
$20
Principle Account:
balance-
$250-$20 (first withdrawal transaction account deposit)
$230+$140 (successful + 3 trading series)
$370
Once the Principle account clicks the next level up or down (so in this example, $400 up and $100 down) the account margin will also be adjusted to the new 10% level .
That's it. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. If anyone decides to give it a try, I'd be interested to hear how they get on.
Cheers and GL,
Matt.

Example:
This is a system test for a 1% compound interest account. The risk is set to 1% (you need to enter 5% to test the system with the risk I explained) and the win/loss rate is 40% (both adjustable).
Same test, but net trading profit scenario is +2
EDIT 18/8/18: I encountered an interesting quirk. If you choose to trade 1 account instead of 2 (which is easy to do as long as you maintain your trading level), your 2:1 trades may be more risky in terms of lot size compared to your leveraged account balance.
I'm used to a TP of 60-80 and a stop loss of 30-40 because that's all my account can take at 1:500 leverage, but if my entire balance was in one account I could scalp 20 pips in exchange for a stop loss of 10 pips (for the scalpers out there). However, as always a word of warning with this, if a black swan event occurs, or just some random news that spikes your account (almost all brokers are not perfect), it can destroy an account.
Edit 2025 - I looked at the download below again - it says "Enter Risk %" and needs to set my risk level to 5%, whereas it is currently set to 1% on the download.
