Hello traders,
It's been a while. Amazing journey? At least I can say that. The Forex market has evolved and I'm happy to report that it remains the best money-making machine for me and my students.
I've looked at some of the latest posts and basically nothing has changed. Same market, same players (more players, more). So why do I say the market has evolved? In short, it’s “volatility.” But I don't want to get too technical in this post and want to answer fx1079's question:
On May 7, you asked: " Are the trading systems and EAs in this post still reliable?" Refer to the Trend Finder 4hr system released by Bull101 as early as June 12, 2008.
I think it's still one of the best trading systems I've found in any forum. Especially suitable for new traders. My students use it now, no EA required.
Now, before I share my thoughts on the system, I would like to clarify that trading at every level needs to keep the basics in mind at all times. Having a good system doesn't mean you can ignore them, so with that being said, let's take a deeper look at the system:

I added the 50 SMA (yellow), when the price is above the 50 SMA, we only go long, when the price is below the 50 SMA, we only go short. There are other indicators I found in a system called "Palex" (I don't remember where I found it) and other systems. Therefore, the system is a classic MUT/hybrid system.

EMA 7 (green)
2MA Cross Indicator (1,7,3,14)
ptl 2.07 (Alert+Line) Indicator (places Support and Res. lines for you, very accurate)

- The system works effortlessly and you have all the information you need to make decisions, including actively set support and resistance.
- If you don't know how to trade support and resistance levels, I highly recommend you learn about them first .
- Within your 4 hours. Chat, current support and resistance come from the last few days of price data.
- Pay special attention to the price direction relative to the 50 SMA (yellow) as your entry point. Price must move in the direction of the main trend away from it. Ignore counter-trend signals unless you know how to scalp .
- Set the platform candle color to "None" to let the indicator candles work alone.
- If this is part of an exit strategy, you can use the ptl 2.07 purple dashed line to track your stop loss line
