Nova Volume Trading System - MT4/MT5 Resources
------
Hey guys,
Skip the boring part below haha – this is not a rulebook to be followed to the letter, so accept it, relate if you can, and hear me out if not.
This is my first post here, so please relax. I am committed to adding value to this website.
We've all been there, right? Uncover endless “holy grail” strategies and hope to stick with them. Well, after 10 years of trading, I think I finally have something worth sharing - something simple, effective, and easy to master. I’m here to give back to the community that helped me get here.
Introducing the Rising Star Trading System , my go-to method that has been quietly working wonders for me. Whether you're new or experienced, I'm sure you'll find this system refreshing, simple, and powerful. No nonsense – just practical, actionable stuff.
Forget all the jargon: ICT, bearish/bullish breakout blocks, fair value gaps, order blocks, liquidity, etc. If you just trade when the signal appears, that's fine. But let's keep it clean and simple.
What is the Nova system?
The name is very simple. A future version might even be called Super Nova, but let's see how that develops first.
At its core, the Nova system leverages volume strength, market structure, and clear signals to achieve precise entry and exit rules. I combine the best parts of different strategies into a strategy that always works for me.
It's adaptable, suitable for any market conditions, and suits my trading style.
But most importantly, you have to make it work for you and your trading personality. If you're concerned about sales and market structure, this might be the breakthrough you're looking for.
Now, let's talk about my experience: For many years, I struggled with the psychological aspects of trading, no matter what system I used. I found myself getting too emotionally involved in my trading early on, which held me back.
It took me about 7 years to get my mind straight and finally get to the point where I was 100% confident. So, I share this system for everyone to critique and improve.
Currently, the system is only available as an indicator on TradingView.
My approach:
The key is clear charts, following trends and minimal indicators - maybe just one if you really need them. I'm going to break down the buy and sell entry models for you.
If it sounds good so far, feel free to stick around. I'll post an example and setup soon. If you're interested, please let me know - I don't want to waste anyone's time.

rule:
I will not tolerate rude or negative behavior. This is a positive space for learning and sharing. If something offends you, I'll ban you - it's that simple. We're all adults, period.
This system works best if you have at least 2 years of charting experience. If you're not interested, that's okay, move on. But if you're looking for a new perspective and willing to put in the work, follow me.
Also, I will not share the source code of this indicator. It took me 10 years to find something that worked for me, and I've seen people take advantage of other people's work. But I'm happy to share the metric so you can use it - no problem.
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
Post 2: Indicators and Entry Models
So, this is the TradingView indicator:
Nova Volume Indicator - TradingView
Start by adding the 50, 100 and 200 EMA to your chart.
buy entry model
- Batch Start: First confirm the volume using the Nova Volume Indicator. When you see a strong green bar crossing above the 0 line, that's momentum pushing in the direction of buying. But don’t jump in just yet—this is just your green light.
- Check EMA angle: Now, check the trend using EMA angle. If the EMA slopes upward, you are in the direction of the trend. If you're new, look for a slightly upward slope.
- Entry: Once the volume is confirmed by 1-2 green histogram bars and the EMA angle is also confirmed, enter the trade at the close of the candle (usually the second histogram bar). Simple. Place your stop loss below recent swing lows and aim for a 1:2 risk-to-reward ratio. This is not about gambling; this is about gambling. It's about luck.
sell entry model
- Volume Confirmation (Bearish): Look for red bars below 0 on the Nova Volume Indicator – this indicates selling pressure.
- EMA slopes down: If the EMA slopes down, then we are in a downtrend and the sell signal is valid.
- Entry: Enter at the close of the candle after volume confirmation. Place your stop loss above the recent swing high, again targeting a 1:2 risk-to-reward ratio. Let it breathe and harness the momentum.
No trading occurs when the background is black (dark mode) or white (light mode). Wait for it to turn green (bullish) or red (bearish). With experience, you can make your first color change, but it depends on your style and experience.
The signal lines will help you stay in the right direction of the market, you can use the Multi Time Frame (MTF) method: check the 1 hour signal and drop to the lower entry time frame, aiming for a 1:2 profit.
The next post will look at today's annotated example from GOLD - It's a Good Day.
If this seems like a waste of time, please let me know or I'll keep sharing.
