MARSICD index indicator
The MARSICD composite indicator accurately detects trend movements without being affected by typical market noise.
Its high flexibility across different time frames and changing market conditions makes it suitable for both short-term and long-term trading strategies.
Buy Signal
According to the USD/JPY currency pair chart on the 1-hour time frame, the thin green line (ARSI) smoothed RSI is oscillating in the positive zone of the oscillator.
Meanwhile, a high bar formed in the positive area of the chart, indicating that bullish momentum is building. These can be interpreted as signals to enter a buy position.

Sell Signal
According to the 30-minute chart of cryptocurrency Binance Coin (BNB), both the “ARSI” line and the smoothed “RSI” have crossed below the central area of the oscillator and are oscillating in the negative zone.
Meanwhile, red bars appear at the lower portion of the oscillator, reinforcing the growing bearish momentum in the market.

MARSICD indicator settings
The detailed oscillator settings are shown below:

- ARSI Period: The period of the first RSI
- RRSI Period: The period of the second RSI
- AMA Period: period of adaptive moving average
- RMA Period: Period of conventional moving average
- SMAD Period: Smoothing period parameter of histogram
Conclusion
The MARSICD composite indicator combines three key concepts: Moving Averages, Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Convergence/Divergence.
The tool's histogram features dynamic colors and positions that indicate the potential start of a new trend, depending on areas of positive or negative oscillation.
Additionally, the MARSICD oscillator can smooth histogram data and display it as dotted oscillating lines on the chart.
