"Classical" is average with a twist.
The color changes depending on the angle of the slope: the greater the angle, the closer the color is to or equal to the "fast" color . The smaller the angle, the closer the color is to or equal to the "rapid descent" color . The rest is drawn as a gradient between two colors (depending on the angle of the MA).
The "equal" part depends on the "Angle threshold for color step" parameter: if it's set to 90, it's obviously never reached. The default setting for this parameter is 20 degrees.
