Due to its possibility of fractional calculation period, another average/smoother can be used for adaptation.

Some call it "Jurik smooth", some don't. Since it's not Jurik MA, all that's left is that the name needs to be "smoother". The biggest difference is that this one is also adaptable, unlike similar ones that float online. In this example, the adjustment method used is a standard deviation method.

This is a good filter because the way it inherits values ​​unlike the JMA version prevents it from redrawing problems that all JMA versions have. It may not be as responsive as the real JMA but in this new adaptive form, all things considered, it deserves our attention.

To turn off adaptation, set the adaptation period to 1.

It seems that the longer the time, the better the adaptation results but it is better to give it a try (the example below has the adaptation period set to 50 and the calculation period set to 25).
