Normalized MACD - indicator for MetaTrader 5

As useful as MACD is, it may be missing one thing: boundaries.

MACD is an unconstrained indicator, and many times we cannot estimate whether a certain minimum or maximum has been reached to determine whether the trend is strong, weak, or starting to run out. This version attempts to normalize MACD within a known range, which will allow us to achieve all of the above.

As with normal gradients, if you only want color on the slope, set the color step to 2.

Both automated trading tools and foreign exchange indicators should first undergo backtesting, simulated account observation, and small capital verification. Pay special attention to spreads, slippages, maximum drawdowns, position opening frequency, stop loss methods, trading periods and broker rules, and avoid direct real-time execution based only on titles or short-term profit descriptions.
