Double Smoothed Stochastic Indicator - MetaTrader 5 Script - MQL5 | Forex Indicator Download - MT4/MT5 Resources

Double smoothed random variables are usually found to be calculated using EMA (Exponential Moving Average). This version is a bit of a departure from that. The default does use ema for calculations, but it allows you to choose among 4 types of (double) smoothed averages. This way we can get a completely new bismooth random type:
Any combination of prices used (prices are sorted internally so that they are "usable" in calculations). To sum up, it is quite possible to generate some new versions of double-smoothed random variables (including a "original random" when both smoothing periods are set to <= 1)
Typically, the Double Smoothed Stochastic is used as an overbought and oversold type of indicator, however, as the stochastic calculation period increases, it is better to modify the view and check for reversal conditions. Experimentation is recommended in any case: as with any indicator, there is no universal setting suitable for all trading symbols, so some adjustments will be required
