TicksVolume - MetaTrader 5 Script | Forex Indicator Download - MT4/MT5 Resources
This is my translation of Alexey Viktorov's code from MQL4 to MQL5. It may be useful for those who work mainly with MQL5.
This indicator shows price changes in points and the number of changes that occurred during the selected period, unfortunately only from start to stop.
There are no input parameters.
It can be used to determine the speed and/or acceleration of price changes. As can be seen in the screenshot, the volume is equal to 44 and the TickVolume indicator shows that the price increased in 27 ticks ("Tick up") and fell in 17 ticks ("Tick down"). During this period, the price increased by 53 points ("up points") and fell by 9 points ("down points", fifth digit).
It is very important that all mathematical operations related to indicator values must be performed in absolute values.
