Fractional Bands modify price changes using fractal Brownian motion, which takes the fractal dimension into account. This indicator differs from the classic Bollinger Bands, which is based on Wiener's Brownian motion (a special case of fractal Brownian motion). It also uses various equations from the Fractal Bands indicator (https://www.mql5.com/en/code/8895). Although from a mathematical point of view these differences largely correspond to the model, they do not make the indicator more interesting in terms of trading. However, it can be useful when applied in conjunction with other indicators.

The original indicator was developed in MQL4 language and published in the code base on May 7, 2009.
