The source mt4R library developed by Bernd Kreuss has been modified several times by different authors. The latest version of it is already available and here contains the required source repository link, all changes and the GitHub address.

This version of the library has been adjusted to 64-bit and can therefore be used by the МetaТrader 5 library. Two libraries are available: R64 for МetaТrader 5 terminal and R86 for МetaТrader 4.

The library requires a DLL, which should be saved to the Libraries folder of the terminal and the R.mqh file to Include. The following instructions should be included in the EA/indicator text:

Additionally, the path to the Rterm file should be written in the EA/indicator text. For example:

#include The file contains links to both libraries, so upon startup you will get an error message stating that the library without a terminal cannot be loaded. That is, if you use the MetaTrader 4 terminal, you will receive error messages about the R64 library and vice versa.

To debug "Terminal -R" interactions, you can use DebugVeiw.

Usage examples can be found in the file R_Test.mq5.

The library is distributed under the GPL-2 license, which allows commercial and non-commercial use, but the source code must be cited.
