The Vidya area indicator is calculated using 3 prices: high, low and median.

However, if regular Vidya is used, this area will be wrong due to different momentum at different prices on the same bar. To resolve this version a modified Vidya calculation was introduced which prevents this error and makes the Vidya area bug-free and produces logical results.

This area is primarily used in breakout patterns‌ (ie: when price is within this area, this will be a no-trade, or a warning zone, once price breaks out, consider entering a trade). This version also features a midline color that changes value based on the two exterior colors. If the outside is the same color, the middle line shows that color, otherwise it remains neutral. In this way, the indicator can also be used to estimate overall trends.
