Detrended Composite Price (Bar) - MetaTrader 5 Script | Forex Indicator Download - MT4/MT5 Resources
Detrended composite prices were originally developed by John Ehlers. There are many ways to use it out there, but I find that the most common ones they use are (with fixed levels), which have very limited use (you have to adjust the level parameters for each symbol, timeframe, or whatever is set).
The discontinued version of Signal Line seems to be a reasonable choice of indicator to use instead of fixed indicator levels. This version is the bar version (colored bars drawn on the main chart) of the basic oscillator indicator, which looks like this compared to the oscillator (depending on the setting options used for coloring):
