A simple trend indicator , the Smoothed Average Directional Movement Index, is plotted in the main chart window. If the positive line of ADX is higher than its negative line, an uptrend is marked by a lime dot. If the positions of the lines are reversed, the points are red. Large and growing points on ADX indicate that the trend is strengthening. The small falling dots in ADX indicate weakness.
The indicator was first implemented in MQL4 and published in the code base of mql4.com on July 22, 2009.
