Moving slope rate of change - Extended - indicator for MetaTrader 5

William Rafter describes the moving slope rate in his article "Finding the Superior Signal—A Hybrid of Two Moving Functions" (September 2005). This is the MSROC as originally described.

Rather than just using price changes to calculate a slope (like a rate of change, or "ROC"), the slope of a least squares line is used to calculate MSROC. This produces smoother results than a regular ROC, and the number of false signals is significantly reduced compared to the ROC itself.

This version extends the indicators of the basic version . This version no longer only uses the fixed zero level as the criterion for determining trend changes, but adds floating (dynamic) levels. The main advantages of a floating level compared to a fixed zero level are its responsiveness and earlier detection of trend changes (much less noise than with the MSROC slope), and filtering out a lot of false signals along the way.
