Another in the series of simple and easy-to-follow code examples in MetaTrader 5 (the main loop of this example has 6 lines of code).
This is a MACD that can use the average as input price rather than using "pure" price. This can help filter out some false signals, but the main purpose of this code is to show how simple things can be done using MetaTrader 5. In addition to all the usual options for this type of indicator, there is also the option of color changes based on MACD slope changes or MACD crossover signal lines.
