The Stochastic Oscillator is a momentum indicator that compares price to its price range over a certain period of time. The sensitivity of the oscillator to market movements can be reduced by adjusting the time period or taking a moving average of the results.
Hull Moving Average added to reduce false signals. The Hull mean is used before the stochastic calculation, so prices are filtered before being used in the stochastic calculation. This method is used because it adds much less lag than smoothing using calculated random values.
